About National Rural Health Week
National Rural Health Week is a celebration of the dedication and impact of health care providers in rural communities across Canada. From October 21-25, 2024, we’ll highlight the importance of rural health care with five days of engaging activities designed to inspire, connect, and support healthcare professionals and advocates.
Monday: Kick off the week by hearing from rural healthcare providers about why they love rural practice.
Tuesday: Explore career pathways and opportunities in rural healthcare at our virtual career fair. Register here >
Wednesday: Share your best smiles with our Photo Day, featuring Polaroid-style frames.
Thursday: Help build the rural health partnership by joining a coalition of supporters.
Friday: Celebrate the week’s achievements and the first Rural Health Week in Canada and join the call for official recognition of National Rural Health Week.
